A Resort Day at Coronado Springs

Why take a resort day when vacationing in Disney World? It's always a good idea to take a break from the parks. Everyone needs time to relax, unwind, and nap in the gentle breeze. Coronado Springs is a beautiful resort with a Mayan theme. The pool has an amazing Mayan pyramid that reaches 50 feet high and a fun water slide.

Hungry? Thirsty? Siestas Cantina, a poolside bar with yummy food and signature drinks is the perfect spot to enjoy lunch. After finding a quiet, shady, spot away from the pool, I enjoyed the fish tacos and chicken blt wrap.

Heading back to the main lobby, you will find shopping, lounge areas, a bakery, and a a few other restaurants. The shopping area has everything you may need or have forgotten to pack. With snacks, beverages, and treats, you certainly won't go hungry! Of course you will also find personal items such as first aid kits, baby supplies, and toothbrushes here as well, in case you didn't pack any of your own. The best part about the store are the must have souvenirs! Form shirts and Mickey ears to luxury purses and bubble wands, make sure to stop at the store before your vacation ends!
